Tour Itinerary

These programs are only used as a guideline. Our dive guides may adjust the locations based on conditions such as currents, tides, waves, and visibility at the time of the activity. The guides will determine the timing, dive sites, and routes for the trip.

Day 1 : Labuan Bajo – Komodo National Park

Gather around at the dive shop by 9 AM, and then we will walk for 5 minutes to the harbor nearby. After boarding the boat, our first stop will be Sebayur Kecil or another easy site for a check dive, where we will assess your equipment and skill level. Next, we will head to Tatawa Besar for your first drift dive of the trip – Komodo is famous for currents. The last dive of the day is often a nice, protected night dive and may be in Central or North Komodo, where you will stay overnight. Watch the reef come even more alive at night! After dinner and some chit chat, maybe watching the stars from the deck, it’s time to get some rest before a busy second day exploring the park.

Day 2 : Komodo National Park

On the second day of our trip, we’ll begin with a morning dive, most likely at the Cauldron, located in North Komodo. This exciting channel dive between Gili Lawa Darat and Gili Lawa Laut is best experienced during falling tide. You’ll start with a slow drift from the west side, pass through the channel, and then end with a ripping current. It’s an exciting site to explore! After the first dive, you’ll be treated to breakfast while the boat slowly moves to the northern side of the island.

The next dive sites on our itinerary could be Castle and Crystal Rock. Lunch will be served after the third dive, followed by a move to the central area where we will search for the perfect night dive site. Siaba Besar is a popular option, but if you love macro – Wae Nilu is a great choice. After the last dive, we’ll anchor the boat in a safe place for your second night. You can then enjoy dinner, chat with your fellow divers, and retire to bed for some well-deserved sleep.

Day 3 : Komodo National Park

Begin your day with an early wake-up call to embark on a morning hike at Padar Island, a renowned trekking spot in Komodo. From the top of the island, relish the breathtaking sunrise view. Head back to the boat for a hearty breakfast and sail towards your first dive site in the Padar area. Here, you can discover the vibrant and diverse marine life, including colorful coral, sharks, and some macro lover’s dreams.

Once you’ve explored around Padar, return to the central area for your second and third dive. Your guide may choose between Batu Bolong, Mawan, or Manta Point, each offering unique and memorable diving experiences. After completing the third dive, proceed to another protected site for the final night dive of the trip. Look out for fascinating, weird and wonderful creatures of the night. As the boat anchors, enjoy a delicious dinner and casual conversation before settling down for the night.

Day 4 : Komodo National Park – Labuan Bajo

Today marks the final day of your excursion! You have two more dives to relish. There are still plenty of amazing dive sites to choose from, like Mawan, Siaba, Tatawa or Pengah Kecil. After completing the dives, we will have our lunch and proceed to Rinca Island or Komodo Island to witness the remarkable Komodo dragon. Typically, the trek lasts for around two hours. Return to the boat and embark on the journey back to the original port of departure, Labuan Bajo. End of tour.

Best Time to Join This Tour

During these months, visitors can enjoy clear skies, vibrant marine life, and excellent opportunities to spot Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. While tours operate year-round, weather and sea conditions may occasionally affect the itinerary during the rainy season.
