5D4N North Thailand

The 5D4N North Thailand tour will include 2 big cities in the area, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. Both  areas are famous for their beautiful and ornate temples. While Chiang Mai also have the advantage for its title : the night market capital.

Best done during Thursday – Monday to get all the hype and night markets listed.

Route : Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai

Highlights : Mae Sai Border, Golden Triangle, White Temple, Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market

Day 1   Chiang Rai Arrival

Pick up at Chiang Rai International Airport. After meeting our driver, we will proceed to you accommodation for a good rest.

Day 2   Chiang Rai

After breakfast, we will start our trip riding to the north. Our first stop will be Wat Huay Pla Kang (photo stop), where there is the tall Goddess of Mercy statue and a 9 storey pagoda. Then we will continue the trip and head to Mae Sai, that bordering with Thacileik, Myanmar. If you want to add more stamp to your visa, you can try and cross over to Myanmar. In Mae Sai, we will go around the traditional market that sells both Thailad and Myanmar goods. After done, we will then proceed to Golden Triangle, where we can see the bordering country of Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos separated by Mekong River. Done enjoying the scenery and taking photos, we will head back to downtown Chiang Rai. In the evening, you will have a free time, and you can visit Chiang Rai Night Bazaar (opens everyday).

Day 3   Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai

Early in the morning, we will visit the famous contemporary White Temple. Done marveling at the architecture and carvings at the temple, we will head back to the accommodation for breakfast and check out. We will then take the midday VIP bus heading to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, check in to your hotel in the old town area and you can have a free time on your own. In the evening, you can visit Chiang Mai Night Bazaar (opens everyday).

Day 4   Chiang Mai

After breakfast, today we will have a city tour visiting Wat Chedi Luang from the 15th century, Wat Suan Dok which enshrines the Buddha’s relic, and Doi Suthep that is famous for its white elephant story and also enshrines Buddha’s shoulder bone inside the golden stupa. In the afternoon, we will head back to your accommodation. If today is fall on a Sunday, then it’s your lucky day! You can go out from your hotel and walk along the road to enter Chiang Mai Sunday Night Market, which is dubbed as the largest night market in the world. Here you can shop for fashions, foods, and goods, at a price that is even cheaper than Bangkok (opens on Sunday night only 4PM to 12AM).

Day 5   Chiang Mai Departure

Free time until check out, and then we will transfer to Chiang Mai International Airport for your flight back home. End of tour.
